looking down the barrel
The White House reported some good news for the U.S. economy last week. Employment figures showed that nearly five million jobs were created in June. It was also announced that to date in 2020 19 million firearm background checks had been completed. So were all the jobs in gun retail or only most of them? If each check was associated with the purchase of just one weapon, you'd still have to say that's a lot of guns. What are Americans planning to protect with them? If they allow their culture to be cancelled, would there be anything left worth defending? Is the Second Amendment about preserving the Republic or just for keeping demonstrators off your lawn?
