Anyone remember Mad Max the Road Warrior? "If it's all the same to you, I'll drive that tanker." As a proportion of the British people react to the shortage of fuel with jerry cans, Brexit takes the blame for the lack of drivers available to deliver it to forecourts. Heaven forbid that anyone who lives in this country receives occupational training. Good grief, that would mean investing in people. The establishment modus operandi has been to export those who turn to crime because they lack a trade that would allow them to earn a living, while importing people who have skills deemed valuable. It matters not that countries investing in training are deprived of benefit, or that those already living here are deprived of a livelihood. Relative deprivation is the objective; it is essential if your betters are going to have a righteous sense of overprivilege. These are echos of feudalism. It is not capitalism. This is Britain running on empty. As we persist in the wasteland, we will pray that leadership is out there somewhere, not just more sociopaths with a sense of entitlement (hockey mask optional).
